El Klaus Fehr Modelo 3 se caracteriza por un sonido brillante, flexible y claro, con excelente respuesta desde el pianísimo hasta un fortísimo potente y voluminoso.

La afinación es precisa y estable en todos los registros, destacándose especialmente por su comodidad y seguridad en el registro agudo, lo que permite una ejecución confiable incluso en pasajes exigentes.
Su flexibilidad se mantiene cálida y estable, integrándose con naturalidad en el balance y la mezcla con los instrumentos de viento madera.

La proyección en sala es sobresaliente, con una sensación de profundidad y presencia tridimensional, lo que favorece tanto el trabajo orquestal como el de banda sinfónica.

Desde mi experiencia en orquestas y bandas sinfónicas, en comparación con otros cornos franceses que he utilizado, este instrumento me brinda mayor seguridad y precisión en el registro agudo.
El registro medio se percibe cálido y centrado, mientras que el registro grave es amplio, brillante y con cuerpo.

Instrument reference (personal experience)

The Klaus Fehr Model 3 is characterized by a bright, flexible, and clear sound, with excellent response from the softest pianissimo to a powerful and full fortissimo.

The intonation is precise and stable across all registers, standing out especially for its comfort and security in the high register, which allows for reliable performance even in demanding passages.
Its flexibility remains warm and stable, blending naturally and evenly with woodwind instruments.

Projection in the hall is outstanding, with a sense of depth and three-dimensional presence, making it well suited for both orchestral and symphonic band work.

Based on my experience in orchestras and symphonic bands, and in comparison with other French horns I have played, this instrument provides greater security and accuracy in the high register.
The middle register feels warm and centered, while the low register is broad, bright, and full-bodied.
